it is once again the end of another year.. the end is the beginning of another year.. hopefully that works for my career as well.. hahaha.. got a few interviews and offers, which i rejected the offers cuz they were either less or the same as my current situation..

i went for an interview at a rather renowned co, still waiting and hoping to hear from them.. they told me i would hear from them around the end of the year.. and specifically, the end of the year is coming soon, which means my deadline for hearing from them is approaching soon too.. though it's also true that there is still a chance of hearing from them in the new year..

i found myself hoping to receive news from them, and when i realised it, i told myself not to get my hopes up, cuz i just get very disappointed when i end up not hearing from them.. as the saying goes: the more you hope, the more disappointed you get.. i know myself very well, that my skills and brains are most prob not good enough to enter the co.. in fact, to have been able to land an interview with the co was a miracle itself alr.. why was i hoping to even get a contract?

still, new year brings new hope!!! i might still be able to hear from them or other co in 2014.. wishing happy new year to everybody in advance cuz i'm gonna work through midnight tmr~
