[[childhood memories]]

recently found a youtube user who uploaded all the episodes of the eto rangers anime i used to watch in pri sch.. i really loved tt show, everything abt the show, esp the ending songs.. i always wanted to find the ost but really v hard to find.. i actually juz randomly pressed one of the clip to watch, and heard a bgm tt i liked a lot.. juz hearing tt bgm brought back many memories of watching the show.. and tt re-ignited my motivation to find the ost.. and i finally found the ost!! *_*

i really love tt show.. it showed in 1997/1998.. p3 to p4 ba.. on sat at the 1pm-2pm slot.. it's either the 1 to 1.30 or 1.30 to 2 slot.. 1pm-2pm on sat is the time i loved most in childhood ba.. they aired all kinds of anime, and i nv fail to watch the animes (or cartoons as i know at tt time) at tt slot.. 絕對無敵, sailormoon, eto rangers, cardcaptor sakura, slamdunk etc.. haha so many.. anw i like the eto ranger show so much tt i re-watched it when i found it being aired again on fri 6-7am, i tink? or was it only half an hour.. can't really rmb la.. but yes, i would wake up early, sneak out of the room and go watch the show again.. i really shld go find my pri sch diary.. i rmb writing abt waking up early to watch the show, cannot wake my mum up when i sneak out of the room (since she used to wake up at 6 or smthg like tt).. haha.. dunno where is it liao.. might haf thrown it away.. lol..

i still rmb how i felt when i 1st saw the show title.. it was a habit for me to check the tv schedule every sat morn, i would aim for the 1-2pm to see wad show was replacing the previous one.. the title was printed as 十二生肖ETO守護神 or somewhere along those lines.. i might haf gotten the order wrong but it shld be those very words.. since it was a chi newspaper, and the title was like tt, i wondered wad eto meant, and wad kind of show was it abt..

anw watching tt show reminded me of how naive i was at tt time.. i still rmb the ending of the show.. okay it's gonna get a bit confusing here.. the story was mainly abt how the 12 zodiac animals protect the novel world (abt those fairytales we all know abt: snow white, journey to the west, cinderella etc).. and yeah there's a baddy who sends monsters into those stories to spoil the ending, so the zodiac animals enter the story to find the baddy, kill it and return the story back to its normal plot.. so the ending was they killed the baddy, and the 12 zodiacs had their own adventure made into a story too.. so the ending was the main character (the rat) telling u if u find their bk abt their story in the library, take the bk out and u can meet them again.. then the adventure will start.. tt time i naively believed tt the library would really haf this storybk.. and since i was devastated knowing it was the last ep, i really really wanted to go to the library and find the bk.. i still rmb telling myself muz try to find the bk.. haha.. thinking back now i seem to be so foolish..

but again tt time i din know tt the show was from japan and stuff.. i knew it was a cartoon, but it din occur to me it was made-up.. haha.. now i'm skeptical or can predict wad happens in shows.. always like, "aiya, for sure dis will happen, if not tt will happen.." watching anime used to be such a fun thing for me.. now? is it still fun? i'm sure i still enjoy to some extent, deep in my heart, but.. it feels different.. the kind of enjoyment i feel now.. aiya, i dunno how to say la.. i'm unsure of it myself.. haha..

i wonder when i changed.. as far as i can rmb, i tink i was still the same when i watched yucie.. can't really rmb wad came aft tt, haha.. oh well.....
